Hero Bar and Restaurant is located on 9th floor at Trademark Hotel, Village Market, along Limuru road. It is part of the Tribe Hotels Group. It is a new kind of eatery; at the intersection of design, fantasy, indulgence and individuality. Moreover, it has a discrete entrance and prohibition-style bar which invites the guests to be members of a secret space. Bridging fantasy and reality, the space and food celebrate heroes from comics and from our own community. These include the thought leaders, entrepreneurs, athletes, authors, do-gooders, champions of humanity and protectors of the environment.
The restaurant is not Japanese but its menu features sushi. The food is not authentic, it is creative. The cuisine adopts the sushi form, but takes it out of its native context to give way to more flavor, color and fun. The small plates draw in influence from the idea of the superhero, and their superpowers.

Hero’s restaurant became the first restaurant to be certified in Africa. JETRO, the Japanese Governmental Trade & Investment Promotion Agency, granted the Japanese food supporter certification to Hero as an authentic Japanese restaurant
In conclusion, the bar/restaurant was named among the top 100 bars in the world for the second year in a row. This was an indication that it had managed to climb down two places from the position 70 that it got the previous year. It is the first Kenyan bar to make it to the list.
